Problem & Solution

We pride ourselves in helping building your perfect outdoor space. That often involves discovering exactly what your backyard or outdoor space needs to thrive.

Problem

Cracked footers and aging decking was signaling to the home owners that it was time to replace the deck.

  1. Clients mentioned it was too hot to enjoy the back deck.
  2. Shallow backyard limited the amount of space they could use.
  3. Deck stairs blocked the ability to enter basement from that side.

Solution

Our team designed a simple soluttion to all their problems.

  1. We suggested they install a covered porch with fans to help with the sun and heat.
  2. Extending the deck to the west allowed for both covered an uncovered sections of the deck to be utilized.
  3. By moving the stairs and creating a multi-tiered staircase they were able to take advantage of space beneath the deck.
